Just a quick addition. I didn't like the baroness of the wood between the blinds but didn't want the light blocked out with drapes.
So I chose sheers with the rebate money I received from the purchase of the carpet.
It's nice camouflage for the air conditioner in the window.

That was a great idea for that window cover. My ex made heavy drapes, very colorful in our dining room. I love these sheers for a nice fresh look. Excellent that they are shortened over the radiator!
