I saw this somewhere and I tried it, a clean, cotton cloth, put a little baby oil (any kind will do, I think) and rub, then buff.
If you live in a hot or humid climate, oils can go rancid and make your kitchen stink. I have worked in commercial kitchens. If we ran out of cleaner, we used cheap vodka. It works in a pinch!

I use Endust green apple cleaner. I works great and the kitchen smells good after I clean.
