I run across these "French Provincial" dressers all the time
and usually pass them up but I finally decided I wanted to keep in line with the
French Provincial feel and just give it a nice update.
No fancy, CRAZY color combos or fun artwork, just a simple and elegant makeover.
I just used a color I have been wanting to try forever to transform this French Provincial Dresser.

Good Morning my BEAUTIES!

Do I ever have a simple and elegant makeover for you guys today.

I run across these "French Provincial" dressers all the time

and usually pass them up but I finally decided I wanted to keep in line with the

French Provincial feel and just give it a nice update.
What better paint for a French Provincial dresser than

"Maison Blanche Vintage Furniture Paint".

I wanted to keep with the feel of the style of dresser

and thought this was the perfect paint to do it.
I chose the color Chicory Spice because it just screamed French Provincial to me.

It seemed to me to be such a Parisian color.

Its elegant and understated yet some warm and homey

Maison Blanche is easy to use because it requires no prep! You don't have to use primer, you don't have to sand. Plus, it's a chalk based paint so it'll stick to almost anything.
I painted on 2 coats of the Maison Blanche Chicory Spice and was in love.

I used the antique clear wax to seal the piece and buffed it to that

old world finish.
I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

I didn't even need to replace the knobs.

They fit so well into the piece and

it kept that provincial feel.

Its not very often that I keep the hardware, but when something is right, IT'S RIGHT-

am I RIGHT? :)
The Maison Blanche Chicory Spice Chalky style paint

gave it just the look I was wanting.

Pure elegance and class.
Sometimes the simplest makeovers are my favorite.
