How do I clean interior log home?

Recently moved to a log home and have a problem trying to dust the interior log walls of dust and webs. Vacuuming the walls is very clumsy and time consuming and doesn’t seem to get all the dust. Any suggestions?

I own a log home and have for 20 years. The logs are not easy to keep dust free! Also they consume light so you may find your home a little darker than others unless you have many windows. I use A wet swiffer sweeper or around mop they work like a charm however you will have to at least once or twice a year scrub them the logs I mean as they do hold the dust. Then Oil them and they are gorgeous....I would like to add you will never get rid of the dust

LINDA, it is not an easy task to clean these type of walls. I break up hard jobs and do a little every day or so. Do one room a day, or every two days. a six room house will be cleaned it two weeks or less.
