Dollar Store Monkey Candy Arrangement
I've seen these kind of arrangements for sale, so I wanted to try and make one myself! Check out how easy and inexpensive it was to make, just in time for Valentines!
All the materials that you'll need for this project can easily be picked up at the Dollar Store.
The first step is to cut the foam to place inside the mug. Press the mouth of the mug down onto the foam. Now you have a guide to cut out the shape! (the more space you leave on the more candy that will fit 
)
Next, cut out the piece to put inside the mailbox. Glue it to the inside of the mailbox.
Then, attach the two with your wooden dowel. Place it in the mug on an angle, and then push the mailbox on the top.
Next, place the monkey how you'd like it! (you may want to change the position once you start placing your candy)
Then, dabbing a bit of (hot) glue to each piece of candy, begin placing them along the wooden dowel, this way they look like they are cascading out of the mailbox! First fill up the mug, and then go up the dowel.
Mix up the candy and cover the front and back of the wooden dowel. I re-positioned the monkey's hands- more room for candy!
