How do I kill those pesky weeds?
What's the best way to get rid of those pesky weeds with stickers on them they just keep coming back everywhere.ouch😫
Over-seed with grass seed. Dig out individual weeds making sure you get the roots. Keep mowing them down so they don't go to seed. Patience is a virtue in this process....
Boiling water
Donna,
You can spend a lot of time and energy, AND money fighting weeds. I use TruGreen Lawn service for about $42 eight times a year. The pre-spray to keep weed seeds from coming up, lime, fertilize...I do nothing except get it mowed. My yard is completely weed free! If I see weeds, I call them to come out and spray them...I don't pull them up myself. WELL WORTH THE MONEY!
We have bottles and bottles of unused product that did not work because there was no followup on putting it out! I got tired of fighting it!!!
Cheap way White Vinegar and you can always use pre emergence now as well
Vinegar works great and so does hot boiling water. Make sure yo remove the root though because they will just keep coming back otherwise.
I have a free printable in my newsletter sign up on weeds if you're interested.
