Fill a baggie with vinegar, tie it on so that the vinegar covers the whole head and let it sit over night. That should take care of most of the buildup on the shower head.

Tape a bag of vinegar around it and leave on overnight

First slip a rubber band over the top of the showerhead. You may want to loop it around the shower arm once or twice so the plastic bag will stay in place. Fill a plastic bag with white vinegar. Attach the bag to the showerhead by slipping the top of it underneath the rubber band. Wait one hour, then remove the bag and turn on the water to flush. Polish with a soft cloth.

If you can easily remove it, submerge it in a bowl of white vinegar overnight. Then scrub the openings with a soft brush, rinse, dry and reinstall. Or you can fill a non-leaking plastic bag with vinegar and place it over the shower head and use a rubber-band or masking tape to hold it in place overnight.

Jerrica....You can purchase some CLR from Walmart or most groceries stores or hardware stores, even Dollar Stores. Soak the head in the liquid and it should work. Good luck

Hi ! Take a disposable plastic container , one that your shower head fits into . Fill it 3/4 with a mix of hot water and vinegar. Tape it , using masking tape , to the rod holding the showerhead, with the showerhead submerged in the container. Let it sit for a half hour , remove and use a toothbrush for cleaning the shower head .
