How do I refurbish my bathroom sink?

I live in a rental, and the bathroom sink is discolored and stains too easily. Aside from replacement, is there any way to spruce it up?

My sister-in-law got some smooth stones ( big enough NOT to go down the drain) and laid them in the bottom of her sink. It looked great.

Our landlord is against it. And he was unanimous in that! Lol

I've seen that!!!! It's really pretty, and my home is decorated to match that. The big question is if the landlord will be okay with it. Thank you so much for the suggestion!

    Hi Tonya,

My name is Linda. If you put in stones that can be removed the landlord shouldn't care. Use large, flat-top ones and realize that you might have to rearrange them once in a while. Other than that, it should be fine. Wishing you the best.
