How to fix my hill?
So we have the two in the backyard it is even with the upstairs bedrooms. Our problem is it constantly has rain water flowing down into our basement. We’ve tried everything except for retaining wall. We don’t have the money to do the $15,000 wall that needs rebuilt what is the easiest way to help fix it? Erosion is the biggest issue and it’s nothing but clay!

We had drains installed and it cost around $4,000. It sure worked!
Have a consult with a soils expert or landscape designer. You will most likely need to install French drains or something similar which will cost far less money.
Trenches handle surface water run off and french drains handle under ground water retention. Cheapest solution--Trenches along bottom of hills to direct water where you want it to flow, filled with gravel to reduce water flow. Here's info. on options retaining wall probably would not do much good unless these options were also added https://www.tlake.com/blog/french-drain-vs.-trench-drain-vs.-swale
