How do I glue plastic and glass together?

I am making a table out of a plastic painted bird bath. What glue can I use to secure round glass top to plastic birdbath rim?

E6000 glue or two part epoxy.
Atube of E-6000 glue should work for this. It dries clear. The key is to apply the glue to both pieces, let set for about 3-4 minutes before joining the two pieces together. Allow to dry for several hours before moving.
