You could change the top to a thicker glass, with changing lighting, or install quartz for a more contemporary look.

Pick out the peel and stick vinyl tiles you like at the hardware store and install them right on top of the current countertop. My personal preference would be the woodgrain in a light color. That will give you a quick makeover that is alcohol proof. Make a wooden frame (paint white?) around it for a more finished look. Hope this helps!

I would paint the top in a marble effect, add some wood trim to the edge of the glass block (rustic style) and add warm white lights behind the glass blocks for subtle lighting. Good luck.

You can install rope lights under the counter enhance the glass blocks. If you don’t like the color of the top you can paint it. You will need to sand it a little for the paint to stick & cover with a couple of coats of poly. Or you can cover the top with wood, tile or flooring.

Decoupage with various beverage labels and cover with a sheet of glass.

Great ideas above. We just used wood, stain and coats of poly for top. Used pool noodles for arm rests with faux leather stapled over. Added Christmas lights behind the glass blocks.

If a travel fan use maps to decoupage favorite locations. Brochures, adds, pictures ect.. of whatever your favorite thing is.
