    Hi Christine,

Have you considered another theme you like?

Such as mountains, sea shore, colonial...Maybe choose something and start from there with paint, matching shower curtains, toewls, dollar store complementary items.

I would get a new vanity/sink & medicine cabinet that match, maybe a Gray, Paint the walls a light silver ( Satin), a new light fixture and some shelves above the toilet. Check out Home Depot for the vanity/sink/cabinet. They have a pretty Gray one usually for around $100.00. You can get a few cute baskets to store all the “extras” that are sitting out on the shelves above the toilet. The $ Store may have some & if you can’t find the color you want, you can spray paint them White. With a Light Silver wall, you can use a lot of pretty colors like Lavender/Purple, Blues or Dark Gray towels and a new Shower Curtain with a subtle design. Don’t forget your ceiling, you can just paint it the same color as the walls if it’s a light color, otherwise use a White. Just saw a nice color Gray Vanity/Sink at Lowe’s for $149.00 ( sink included )

I hope this helps you, good luck 🍀

  • You could install some floating shelves above the toilet to hold towels and other items or a shelf like this: https://www.anikasdiylife.com/diy-floating-ladder-shelf-plans/. A small lamp on the corner of the sink would also look nice, and storing toiletries out of the way will help the space to feel bigger.

You could replace the vanity as we did with a small wall hung sink and then use a curtain around it for the storage. Or put in a pedestal sink , Change the curtain, use wall shelves made of old barn wood etc to give it a vintage look. Replace the fixture with a single vintage light

Here is the DIY for the bathroom I just finished decorating. It is light and bright and didn't cost a lot to do. https://www.homeroad.net/2018/04/a-neutral-bathroom-makeover.html

A mono-chromatic color scheme will make the space larger and less "busy". A small print on the shower curtain. A small rug to pick up the color. Paint the walls the same. Pick a soothing color. Try shelves with baskets for storage. Or a matching medicine cabinet and 2nd wall unit to conceal items behind doors.
