I love the look of a gallery wall hung around a TV!
Most flat screen TV's are pretty neutral and are accepted as is by people when it comes to seeing décor in a room. The gallery wall is a good idea. Ours is on the end of one wall and we put a few pictures to the empty side that is above a large fish tank. Everything on that wall is either rectangular or square. Hubbys smaller gaming flat screen is centered just below it on the entertainment center. I must admit it looks better than I thought it would when we set everything up.
