Can I remove wax on my vinyl floor and polyurethane it?
I have wood look floor that I have waxed with floor wax and it looks very streaky. How do I remove all of the wax? Also... to make it more waterproof for my dogs, can I coat it with polyurethane? Thank you.

The carpet was already there years before I moved in to the home.
I use one cup of lemon scented ammonia to one gallon hot water to remove built up wax, dirt, and grime once a month. Then go over with Mop and Glow. Polyurethane will chip and flake off. Vinyl is already waterproof.
Laminate flooring! Use Bona for laminate floors. You definitely cannot polyurethane laminate flooring. It has a bonded coating from the factory.
