Trays are a super versatile home decor piece. They can be used for function - to serve or organize items. They can also be used as a piece of decor to ground items in displays.

I love this DIY because it is so simple and requires no tools. You can use any size tile to create any size tray. There are so many options!

You need: one tile (from home depot or lowes or similar store), 2 drawer pulls, and 4 felt furniture pads with a peel and stick backing.

Flip your tile right side down. Peel the paper off of the sticky side of the felt furniture pads. Apply to the corner of the tile. Leave about 1/4 inch gap between the pad and the edge of the tile so you don't see them when it is in regular use.

Use gorilla glue or any super glue to attach the handles to the sides of the tray. Try not to apply too much glue that it squirts out. Allow to dry according to package instructions.

You might want to use a ruler or straight edge to be sure that the handles are lined up straight to the edges of the tile and even with each other.

Ta-da! Enjoy your new tray. Style it out on any surface for beautiful functional decor.
