Put a picture or mirror over it
A picture on a canvas frame would go right over this.
That's what I did. Hang a picture over it.
I tried that but it is right next to door not in center of wall.
Put a saying on a piece of canvas that fits the size then on the left balance it there with collage of family pictures, including, places you have lived or your parents have lived. Make it a piece of your heritage of life for your family. Having the pictures and looking through them then summing up what family means to you on the canvas.
It's hard to tell how much space is to the left and what else exists in that space. But this might be an idea.
Paint with chalkboard paint and frame around the box allowing it to be access. Mine is located in the kitchen and that is what I did
My favorite electrician is not a fan of disguised electric panels. Got a mild chewing out cause he didn’t know that was the electric panel.
