How to choose flooring with medium stain woodwork with wainscoting?

    What room? Wood is always a property value product, can't go wrong. What wood is your woodeork?

    If it is the bathroom, use tile that looks like wood.

    You need some contrast between the wainscoting and the floor, but it should have the same underlying tones....don't use a red tone with a golden tone.

    It is the kitchen I stripped all the woodwork wainscoting a while back in the 90 ‘s ( 100 year old house) . I was thinking of a walnut color . Or maybe I should select a laminate tile look, , same on the wood look as I have limited height space
