How can I use up all the shredded paper I have?

I have so much shredded paper and do not need any for packing purposes. Can I use it in my
garden for a mulch? Or is this bad Idea? This is just shredded documents printed on
regular paper. Just hate to waste anything that can be re-purposed

I grow all my own veg. It takes years to breakdown shredded paper.it takes loads of nitregon out of the soil so plants starve wood chippings do the same.put it in your compost bin in layers with green cuttings etc add garotta to speed up things.
