How to build a trellises for rose?
I have a climbing rose bush that I need a trellise for, no trees in the area to prop it on!
Basically you need a net on a long pole and also some type of shears or clippers on a long pole to clip off the stem of the fruit. I would attach a long poled fish net to a longer pole. Some fish nets do have very long rods. Duct tape it to another light weight pole if you need it longer. Then use long handled sheers. They make them to have the clipper control on the end of the pole where you hold it. You could hold the clipper pole in your writing hand and the net in the other hand to catch them. At your local big box stores you can buy a telescopic extension pole with a saw at the end. Maybe this will work.
