If you have a flower bed (brick or something like that) you could just add a stone highlight to that and not the entire face of the house.

Or just add accents around the windows (sort of like a frame).

If you have pillars or something like that that support a patio structure just cover the pillars in stone.

    Stacked stone retaining wall.

Just add stone to the exposed foundation.

You can faux stone trim that is real, but only on the front that is like a stick and peel backspash made for outside! They also work well behind pellet stoves indoors etc to give a stone look. They are about $40 a sheet that is about a yard long by a yard wide. If you do a certain section, like around the front entrance, you can cut down on too much expense. Actually it would be cheaper than actually paying someone to put up full stones for decor. Hope this helps. See your local home improvement store for what is available.

Hi Val. I'm Cindy. Are you talking about the concrete curbs people use as boarders? If so, you could try mixing the concrete yourself and using a form that you like. Perhaps a gutter would provide the shape for this purpose. Doing this job yourself will save a boatload of money. Good luck Val.
