How do I reupholster?

i have a square ottoman that the leather is already worn out; do i need to take off the old upholstery?a video would help. thanks.

I don't have a video, but most things can get a new covering. Remove old (it can be used as a template), lay on new, and staple the edges underneath. You may need to spruce up the foam or padding too.
