What can be put on heavily spackled bathroom walls - any textured paint
Hi Arlene. I'm Cindy. I spoke to my husband and asked him what choices you have. He suggested that you sand your walls with a pole sander. You put sandpaper on the block that touches the wall and sand it smooth. You screw a broom stick in it. Then wipe it all down with a damp cloth to eliminate the dust from sanding. Afterwards the walls will be ready to prime and paint. You can purchase a pole sander at Ace Hardware for $9.99, I'm sure that you could also buy one from your local home improvement stores. Good luck Arlene.
We did textured wallpaper in ours. You'd still likely want to give it a good sanding and a wipe down, but it wouldn't need to be as perfect as painting.
We had wall issues in our very old home. There are lots of ideas out there, including adding wood planks to the wall or wallpaper. Here's someone who used fabric and then planks. https://www.hometalk.com/6974829/starched-fabric-wall Maybe it'll give you some inspiration.
