It’s pretty classic. Any solution will be temporary and may not wear well. I’d add bling to any surrounding area on walls and decor and leave it alone however if you feel the need for a change you can add a stencil and make a center a feature piece or every couple feet. I don’t think I would do something crazy to every square inch.

with the right prep, its possible to paint them. it is possible to change the grout color with a colored sealer.

Change the grout color. I think that would be easy and could have a huge impact. You can either remove/replace OR paint existing.
