Back in the day when I worked in a restaurant we used crashed ice and comet to clean the coffee decanters. Fill the decanter about 1/4 of the way with crushed ice, shake in some comet or other abrasive cleaner and swirl the decanter until the stains are gone.
baking soda and bottle brush with a little dawn to cut oily residue;hot white vinegar scrubber sponge/bottle brush;resturants use salt & ice cubes add salt alot then ice cubes and swirl around inside til clean
