How to get rid of yellow jackets?

I need any ideas that I can use to get rid of yellow jackets. Don't know how their getting in or where the nest is. Would like to make windows & doors so they don't find easy access. Help!

Screens will go a long way toward keeping them out. Yellow jacket traps (away from house) will capture them.
You can get traps at any hardware or garden store section. The yellow jackets like to make nests in many places that are undisturbed. I used to have them build nests in the cracks of a retaining wall. Your wooden porch and house division are good candidates. We have a pest control spray our foundation and surrounding landscaping to kill the bugs that are on their dinner menu. If their food source is reduced, then they will go elsewhere. My wife is very allelic to the bees.
spray foam all holes even the smallest cracks you see many wasps hornets use plants/wood they grind up & mix to make paper type nests; try to find their nest and remove it
