    Ken is right. It depends on your all these factors. Overall drying time of craft water based) paint is fast. Between 15 and 30 minutes to be dry to the touch. However, curing time is longer, between one and three weeks until you can handle and use your piece normally.

    Your best option is to refer to the bottle of the paint you're using! Every brand varies and should be able to tell you on the back of the bottle.
