Room Reveal- Our Vintage Modern Powder Room

Even as a little girl, I've been fascinated with the architecture and details of homes built in the early 1900s. When we went to put the finishing details on our powder room of our century-old home, I wanted the room to reflect what would have been in the home when it was built.

BEFORE- In the before photo, you can see the room that we changed into 3 spaces: a half bath, a walk-in closet, and an en-suite master bathroom.

AFTER- With the addition of beadboard planks, rich navy paint, a faux tin ceiling and modern accessories, we were able to make a powder room that we'd be proud for our guests to see.

I was so happy that we were able to use a door that was original to the house that had been stored in the basement for 20 years. My husband, Jason, made the storage mirror out of raw steel he had lying around at his shop.

The wide-angle lens makes the room look larger than is really is, but nevertheless, in person, the room looks light, bright and welcoming to our guests.
