I’ve only had luck with hard furniture - not with upholstery. :( The best I’ve had is wiping it with diluted vinegar plus leaving it out in the sun. Bright sun is a miracle cleaning agent.

    Homemade Fabric Refresher Spray

    2 cups of witch hazel

20 drops of lemon essential oils

Add witch hazel and lemon essential oils to a glass spray bottle and shake well before each use..spray liberally on fabric and allow to air dry. The lemon will help to absorb the smoke odor instead of just masking the scent.

  • Get it professionally steam cleaned.

In the interim, dump a bunch of baking soda on it, let sit at least overnight then vacuum up.
