Vintage Chafing Dish Lid Towel Holders

I was at Goodwill last week and stumbled across some vintage chafing dish lids.
There weren't any bottoms, just the lids.
There were four of them, two with great tarnished and two without. I bought all four of them.
I knew they would make great hooks for our bathroom towels.
They were easy to hang, we just drilled a small hole at the top and bottom, then screwed into the wall. We use silver colored screws.
They look really nice and do a great job of holding our towels on the wall. No ordinary towel bar here!
When I walk in to the bathroom they do make me smile. I love utiizing items in different ways then they were intended for.
I really love now they turned out. A very inexpensive, creative way to hang towels.

Great idea and you could even switch out the knobs, if you wanted to go with glass or something else. I like it!
