I would remove the white trim on lower door and windows I don’t believe these are gutters but if so perhaps paint them beige or replace with beige gutters I would paint bottom of house the same as the top and do your front door a much lighter colour. Try taking off the white trim and then decide trim colour maybe black the same as shutters .you will know when you remove the white.

Let me begin by saying: I am sure you have a Lovely Dress that Matches your home perfectly.

    Why do I so say?

I think your primary problem is not the colors selected but instead you are really trying to achieve the impossible.

The impossibility is: attempting to blend colors that mix well in Attires but never mix well on a Home.

Namely Khaki and Blue. Looks great on a Husband or Purse or even a Picture Perfect Flowery Dress you may like alot, but looks very bad on a Roof...

Roofs are usually a color of a Suntan.

Be those gray for the sun tanned corpse, Brown to beige for the Suntanned living or Red for the Sun Burned in Agony, usually the Roof matches the Roofers somehow.

Yes you can get Shutters to tie a mismatch together like a Fashionable Bow tie or belt can do amazing things with an Ugly Sweater or Blouse or attires that might ordinarily mismatch, but again do you see the Trend here?

    The mistake is?

    The expectation is very high.

You could have went with Brown, White or Black rather than Navy and needed nothing atall for this very beautiful home.

The perception that: Colors that look great in clothing on a Hanger and well pressed, look equally well on a Home is truly the only Flaw I see.

It is a Beautiful Home! Lovely tree in the backdrop too!

Great Lawn. All the Windows are Picture perfect, clean and On Center. You could not have selected better Venetian Blinds.

This flaw is not the flaw of the home, why punish it worst?

It is like tying a straw mexican hat on the jaw of an already blind race horse...

This flaw is of yourself or the person who selected or even advised that color scheme in the first place.

Facts are: unless you got evidence of a Paisley Paint, that looks better on yourhhome than on yourself at Easter, you really never can compare:

    A. Looks nice on a woman's body, dress or skirt to

    B. Looks nice on the House, Roof, Deck and Garage.

    So...you got a Choice:

    1. Paint the Beige to match the Blue

    2. Paint the Blue to match the Beige

    3. Buy an oversized Blue Bow Tie for the window above the entry as a means to get across to your spouse that: Looks great in attires does not necessarily apply to a Home.

I would add shutters on the top windows. I would paint the shutters and front door a matching color for a pop of color. Every few years I paint my front door a bright color. Now it's lime green. Before that it was turquoise. Have fun with it!

Your house is lovely. I can’t make out the roof color but pick a light color that will brighten the appearance of the front of your house and not clash with the roof. Maybe an off-white, cream or pale gray color. No shutters, the windows are modern and shutters would ruin that clean line look. Do paint the white trim across top of picture windows and small porch to match shingle color so it will blend in. Definitely paint the front door a color that will pop, yellow, red if main color is gray, periwinkle blue. You can’t even see the front door in the photo.

    Good luck with your project!

Thank you, I have already painted the white trim to the main colour of the house( Benjamin Moore Ranchwood) also painted the trim around the front door also Ranchwood to pop the front door whuch is Espresso also from Benjamin Moore. I will post another picture with changes. The colour of the roof is brownish and beige greenish colour. Thank you again.

Beautiful house. Personally I would paint the house, lower brick and garage, a cream/stone shade and leave the trim over the windows and portico in what appears to be deep bluish grey/soft charcoal?? Maybe match the roof tile colour to the trim?? A pop of colour on front door as a contrast. Not a fan of venetians, keeping them clean is a pain, however I think voiles would look lovely and airy as well a provide privacy.

Shutters on the top would be good but keep them plain, not fancy. Grey has been so overused these past 5 years but if you're willing to go out on a limb it would be beautiful to paint the brick black to match the roofing, medium grey on the wood and trim it out with a very light grey. Paint the garage door the same as the trim. Then have fun with the color of your front door!

I would paint it sky blue and the details/trims around windows and doors in white.

It will oustand during snow season and in summertime.

You can pick 2 shadows of sky blue. Darker in the bottom side

I agree with Julianna. I would put shutters on the top windows and paint them black. Then pick funky color for the front door. My door is purple. It's a little brighter than i wanted but hey, it's easy to change.

Use a color that is going to make your decor pop. Use privacy decor instead of shutters for the windows.
