I want to put a small television in my Master Bathroom without drilling holes to install on the wall! As of right now I have it sitting on my vanity and I am trying to come up with a simple fix for this hopefully smaill problem! Here’s some picture of one spot where I would like to put it and roll it out when I need it ! But the plug placement is also an issue 😱😱 here’s where I have it sitting now and that’s the only two convenient spots besides drilling holes in the wall to mount it right up and over the door from the wall socket that I have it plugged into now which will be the third picture!! Thanks in advance to everyone that replies to this question will be looking forward to some much needed answer have a wonderful day Be Blessed! Is there maybe a diy for mounting without drilling holes I hate putting holes in a wall in a brand new house as well😱

Television on vanity with cords running to wall socket behind wash basin!

Underneath the vanity there’s a plug in an odd place and maybe on a roll out cart but then will only be able to see it when tsking a bath!

The plugs are by the towels in the picture tried to get a better viewing angle of over the door may have to send a fourth picture of over the door or in a corner of the wall between the door and the shower!

Over the door seems kind of high to me to watch without always looking up!!! Thanks Again😊😊

For me id make the bathroom tv free. The best way of doing it would have been putting it behind your mirror in a two way mirror situation we do in high end homes. Only see it when it's on, very cool. You have a very nice home but no need to feat putting a hole on wall for mounting tv. Holes are easy to patch. But I would hate having that cord slung down to the low outlet by door. I would have an outlet put over door if that's where it goes. Personally I would put the tv in the bedroom.

I only see 1 photo. Permanently mounting to a wall is probably your best option. You just need to determine where is best location - or don't put TV in bathroom. Moisture in the air may cause problems. I would install a remodel junction box in wall behind TV mount. Fish wire from existing power up inside wall to new junction box and receptacle to plug in the TV. You don't mention antenna/cable connections, but that needs to be considered.

I would keep out of bathroom until you want to take a long bath. I'd use a small table to set the TV on. Personally, I only get into a tub a few times a year. I hate baths and only have shower in master bath.

  • Is this a new build? Go back to your builder and see what they can do for you. I would have addressed this during construction so accommodations could have been made. You will need to swap out for an outdoor television, or consider a mirror tv as Kelli suggested. Where I live you don't get any tv unless you have cable, dish or internet connection. Is it absolutely necessary? I am a weather, traffic and news junkie, I just turn my bedroom tv on . , .

Moisture, heat may affect the TV. Also it would need to be plugged onto a GFCI outlet.
