Spray with vinegar and wipe down. Pour some olive oil onto your clean cloth and rub it into your stainless steel with the grain. Take a clean cloth and buff it.

Thank you for your reply but my fridge is a fake stainless steel called Smudge Free. Will this remedy work the same?

Never believe the appliance companies that say smudge free, they still will show a little. I've got doggie nose prints on mine.

I use water and a microfiber cloth for perfect results on mine. My favorite cloth is "super cloth" but I'm sure others will work fine.

Don't use olive oil or any vegetable oil. Can get rancid and sticky. Mineral oil is best.

I agree, don't use any kind of cooking oil. I like endust green apple cleaner. It works great and makes the kitchen smell good too.

I opened bottle of olive oil lasts at about a year before going rancid. Sometimes people use what they have on hand because they can't afford to run the store and buy something.
