Hello,I have these 2 old windows that were given to me. LOVE them! There are a lot of things I can do with them, I know. One of them has a crack in the glass - besides removing the glass, any suggestions of what I can do to it?Perhaps painting the cracks with a thin paint brush or ?Ideas? Thanks!

Don't paint the cracks too dangerous. Take out and replace.

You can try using the decorative privacy window films without glue or adhesives. Then place string lights behind the window & place on a wall. Maybe even putting curtains on the frame or wall to make a faux window.

If you want to keep the broken glass in the frame then you need to make it safe, one way is to cover completely with clear shelfpaper, the peel and stick type another is to cover the glass with a tint film. The best way to stabilize the broken glass is to encase it with either glass or Plexiglas on both sides. This can be done by cutting the covers to the size of the glass and using clear silicone to glue them in place. Good luck

Gary, above, has the right idea. Safety first. Depending on what you intend to do with your window (something used or just to look at) you can take the safety factor to the minimum or extreme. The thing to remember is you won't be able to completely hide the cracks - so celebrate them and use the uniqueness to your advantage. Cheers!
