Try using diatomaceous earth . This is a natural substance that is safe around kids & pets ! But it can be used to get rid of all sorts of pests. It has tons of uses. This comes in a fine powder , a pound bag goes for about $10 on Amazon.

Hey I had a problem with ants too. I luck up and found a product made by ENOZ it has 6 containers in it you just cut on the line it has on it and lay it down and in a day I had no ants. I keep it on hand because it is the only thing that has ever worked for me. And I found it at Freds I figured I was waiting money but was shocked at how quick it worked.

As Pamela stated, diatomaceous earth. It will also help with spiders, roaches and anything with an exoskeleton. If you have children or pets, make sure you get the food grade. It is still effective if it gets wet, just let it dry out. The only down side is that you have to leave the powder out in order for it to work.
