    I can smell those from here, Luis! Have you tried Lilium speciosum rubrum? It was the latest-blooming lily for me when I gardened in the Hudson Valley.

      I know Douglas, but I do love key West, South Beach, Fairchild Gardens, Vizcaya, being able to plant my fig trees in the ground instead of containers, Orchids growing on a coconut, but up here I love apple picking, fall colors, the first snow, Christmas when snows, Broadway, Maine Lobsters, I want it all lol @

    I live on the Gulf coast, so I'm blessed to have blooms year round. I suggest you plant flower bulbs and seeds that germinate at different times. That way you will enjoy flowers year round.. But I'll go further: Intersperse veggies and fruits plantings that display bright blooms as they mature. Who says you can't EAT it and ENJOY it too...Dave in Texas

      @Dave Here in Ct you only have spring and summer for most of flowers to bloom and a year like last year by mid fall most of the flowers were gone
