Are you considering "Aging in Place" modifications to your home? Have you examined all of the major spaces in your home?

When considering "Aging in Place" changes to your home, take a look at your home's major spaces including entry ways, bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen and even your yard. Think about the ways to make these places safer, better lit and more spacious.

are the doors wide enough for a wheel chair. are cabinets low enough for wheel chair use. do the stairs have room to put a stair lift. can you build ramps for wheel chair use. a walk in tub or lifting equipment for bathing someone else. special lift chairs room for walkers / floors smooth enough for walkers / no loose rugs portable pottys what else would you need to make life easier as you get older to stay in your own home instead of going into nursing care.
