How to transfer molding for wood floor to tile?

When we put tile down, we took off molding which was a lighter color, i choose a shade of stain, sanded lightly over molding, painted and a polyurethane coat. Looks great

What you need is transition molding between both floors. A small gap between both floors and glue/nail the molding in place. An example:
