I want to show you a simple and quick DIY Valentine’s Day fireplace mantel banner. It only took a few minutes to make and looks so cute. It’s been fun doing bringing out all the Valentine’s Day decorations. I love turning my home into red and pink EVERYTHING!

I love felt! I use it all the time in so many craft projects. I had multiple different colors of pink. I used a dark and light pink for this heart banner.

The heart was a bit bigger than the size of my palm. I cut out 3 hearts of each shade of pink.

I folded it over to make sure both sides of the heart were 100% even.

The easiest way to make sure all hearts were the exact same was to trace the heart on the felt pieces for each one.

I cut 6 little hearts 3 of each color to go on the inside of the larger hearts.

I hot glued the little hearts in the middle of the larger hearts.

I hot glued pearl embellishments on the inside of the small hearts.

Once the hearts were done I glued twine on the back to make them into a hanging banner.

It looks really cute on my fireplace mantel.

Here is the finished banner.
