How do I get hydrophobic grown tulips to blossom again?

I stick them in a pot of fresh soil, toss in a cool corner and keep watered. They bloom when they want. Typically late winter for me here in zone 9.
In zone 6, these tulips will not rebloom.
Typically tulips that have been forced to bloom will not rebloom, but it certainly doesn’t hurt to experiment with them.
