If you're looking to add more organizational elements to your home, I'd highly recommend making your own DIY hook rack. Not only does this help corral the mess, it's also customizable to your taste and space!

This easy tutorial will show you exactly how to create it - perfect for even a beginner DIYer.

First you'll want to grab your wood. I grabbed a piece of scrap wood that was already sized, but you can cut your piece of wood down to size if needed. (Most hardware stores will help with the cutting!)

Next, you'll want to sand the wood down to make it smooth. I used my orbital sander, but you can use a handheld sanding block. You can round the edges with this too, if you'd like.

Wipe off the sawdust really well and once clean, it's time to paint or stain the hook rack. I made my own homemade wood stain with materials from my pantry. All natural! https://www.justmeasuringup.com/diy-wood-stain/

After the stain dried, I lined my hooks evenly and marked where they would go.

Then, I applied a sealer. Once that dried, I attach the hooks with a screwdriver.

Then, I used D-rings on the back to attach it to the wall.

Hang it and up enjoy!
