A Fairy Garden / Sanctuary

Here, near the road, across from the Roadside Garden was a really crummy looking, weed infested, garbage etc. area which looked horrible when driving in.. So I cleaned it up last year, put more touches in this year.. We had old mulch which we got for free from downing some trees on the property.. It is a rough type of mulch with stems and all.. but worked great for this area.. I totally threw in the mulch, planted a few plants which are shade lovers like the Lilies of the Valley, a sedum and a leftover Hosta which I hope will take over by next year. The tree, well what can I say, is extremely old and cracked in the right spots for this fairy garden..Once I got to working on it, it became a place for me to sit , meditate, pray... Think of those who have passed over and has become a Sanctuary for me and others.. I have a little water tub with lights in it and a gentle bubling , fish may be to come. lol. I love this spot. One of the most peaceful places I have..and as with all my gardens, this will always be a working, adding changing garden.. Hoping to put astibles in next year.
I'm rocking all the gardens.. so this will take me a few years.. lol..
