How do I change the look of sliding closets doors?

I'd like to alter the look of the sliding doors on my closets, but because I rent, I need an idea the landlord will approve of. What would you suggest?

What about washi tape in a patter or removable wallpaper?
You might ask permission to paint them. Then if it were me I would put paint tape on them in a geometric shape that I like (even if just 2 rectangles) and paint over them, leaving the part under the tape the same.
You have alot of options. 1. You can find a fabric that you like buy liquid starch ( like what you use to iron with) cut the fabric to size. Depends on how long & wide it is you can use a tote or your bathtub. Dip it like wallpaper squeeze out excess and start at the top and smooth out as you go down the door. When your ready to move or change the look pick the corner of it and peel it right off! No fuss, mess, and most of all no damages! That would be the way I would go because your choices are endless as to the look you want.
Have u thought about removing the doors all together? I had sliding hollow core doors on my bedroom closet. My first actual DIY project was to redo my closet. I hated the doors b/c of the way they looked and the fact that they were always off the track. Having an open closet means that I can’t use it as a dumping ground.
If you go with curtains you can use a good spring tension rod. I made some for my granddaughter’s closet. Super easy as long as you have access to a machine. Straight stitch hems. Or you can use sheets. There are some no sew options on here too.
