How do you transition from room to room with laminate flooring?
We would prefer to not have transition strips at every door opening. What is an easy way to lay continuous flooring through doorways with casings? Do we have to take out the door jam?

We continue the flooring and cut the door facings the depth of the flooring. Then slide the flooring underneath.
No! You undercut the casing and door lamb so the flooring slips under it. Lay a piece of the laminate flooring upside down against the trim/lamb. Cut the trim with the saw so the flooring will slip under it for a clean look. You can use a multi tool or a pull saw. A pull saw has a flexible micro thin blade that cuts on the pull stroke preventing binding.
