How do you use Krud Kutter Gloss-Off?

how do you use Krud Kutter deglosser??? do you cut it with water ???I seem to go through so much when deglossing just a nightstand . Any brand suggestions or tips on deglossing and tools ????

    It is not meant to be thinned out with water as it will lose its strength to do the job properly. There should be instructions on the container, so if you follow these closely it should do the job. I have tried other deglossers and they have done a good job. Once you remove the main sheen, try lightly sanding with the grain to smooth out the surface. Wipe clean, let dry and then do what you want with your finish.

    let the deglosser do its job (give it time) then LIGHTLY wet sand with wet or dry 400 grit sandpaper. you’re removing the sheen, not the finish

  • I only use deglosser for something large like a vinyl floor. Even for a floor, it doesn't take that much. I use a wipe on product. To really degloss something, I sand it.
