I have heard about a product you spray on and forget it. It is supposed to work, but I don't know name.

    Hi, Bill,

Spray Wet n'Forget liquid (large bottles available for less at Costco-otherwise available at home and hardware stores.), on an overcast day with no liklihood of rain.

Apply using a garden sprayer (not a power sprayer). Apply liberally, and be careful not to force liquid beneath the vinyl.

Over the next months, it will become effective.

You will not see immediate results, but if that is what you seek, you will need to scrub the siding with hot water and a lemon liquid dish detergent, using a microfiber cloth, with or without extension poles.

Rinse your rag between applications. You'll need to scrub each section at least twice. Rinse carefully, then dry using another microfiber rag.

You'll need to do this 2x/year. If you have grass or mulch within 10' of your siding, it is contributing to your problem.

Home Depot, Menards sell products for removing mold and mildew from vinyl siding and help to prevent it from coming back especially the North facing side. Easy to use. We did our home with a power washer. Cover any plants that are in the way. Still looking good after 5 years.
