I would fold the hanger down that hangs on the rod. You might want to keep in , you may want to hang your heart with this piece. I would then start shaping the two sides into wings or a heart.
Chicken wire form into a round tube like armature in he shape of a heart. Weave light evergreens around it in a weaving pattern. Decorate with small flowers candies etc and ribbon lavender bunches etc have fun
