These unique farmhouse style DIY wind chimes can be hung on a wall instead of from the eaves of your porch. It looks beautiful inside or out! ( MORE PHOTOS HERE)

Gather your supplies. This uses a ready made wooden plank plaque found at Walmart or any craft store. We used a 12" size. To cut the heart shape out we used a dremel with a hard sanding tool on the end. Other detail type saws would work.

Trace a heart onto the front of the box. You want at least 1.5" border on the sides of the heart. We have a free download with several sizes on our site. ( FREE PATTERN DOWNLOADS HERE)

Using a dremel or any type saw that would work, cut out the heart shape. You may have another type of saw that would work to cut out the heart shape.

Tye loops onto the end of each tube using thin fishing line or nylon thread.

Lay out the tubes in the order they will be attached to your wind chime. Glue the tubes to the top inside of the heart using hot glue.

We added two wood stained heart shapes as a flourish.

Hang your wind chime on any flat surface which makes it perfect inside or out. Though inside I'd aim a fan in it's direction. Ü
