Warm soapy water with a degreasing detergent like Blue Dawn. You might also want to invest in a good micro fiber cleaning cloth. Check out e-cloth, comparable cloth but more affordable than Norwex.
It really depends what they have been painted with. Mine are painted with chalk paint and sealed with sealer. I use Dawn dish detergent and warm water.
