How to clean brushed nickel in shower?

Well water has left white spots on the shower head and handles.

is it minerals? Have you tried vinegar? Or CLR?
You can wipe them down with vinegar on a damp rag. It removes the minerals from the water that leaves spots.
Soak a cloth in vinegar and wipe them down.
You can also use a majic eraser - Mr Clean. I use on that and my glass shower doors as well and shower itself. I also use vinegar, too, mixed with a couple drops of Dawn. Still need to do some wiping.
