Spray in with Round-Up
Hi Laurie,
If you don't want to use chemicals, salt water can really work. Mix water and salt then apply to your gravel. The salt will kill the soil below so that nothing will grow. Here's an article with proportions. Wishing you the best.

I use a mixture of sale, vinegar, and water in a garden sprayer. Saturate the gravel and weeds. You need to get down to the roots. I did this in my gravel walk and it lasted four years.
I have tried every remedy of salt vinegar hot water etc suggested by people. As much as I hate chemicals I finally succumbed to a weed killer spray. It worked. It also prevents new growth.
Hello, using DIY chemicals, a commercial herbicide or a weed dragon will get rid of weeds, yet with all of these methods a reemergence can occur and need retreatment.
Weed killer can help manage and reset your situation. If using a commercial product refer to product labeling and instructions and wear personal protection as labeling directs.
We had a 200 foot pea gravel driveway that was a nightmare to maintain.
Weeds and vegetation constantly popped up. Our options were to use round up vegetation killer or the weed dragon. Both worked but needed continued reapplication which seemed like 7-10 days. We ended up putting in a concrete driveway to solve this issue and I’ve never been happier!
If your weedy situation is too close to a flammable structure this weed burner won't be an option!
